Placker AI Client Terms
These terms explain how the Placker AI Client processes your data, the third-party AI provider involved, and your choices and rights. They supplement our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Third-party AI processing
Placker AI Client uses a third-party AI provider, Anthropic, acting as a sub-processor, to generate responses.

2. What data is sent
When you use Placker AI Client, your chat messages plus board and card data and report context can be transmitted to the AI provider to produce a response.

3. Where it's processed
Today this data is processed and stored in the United States via Anthropic's first-party API.

4. Transfer mechanism
Transfers of personal data from the EU/EEA to the United States rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), and on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) under Anthropic's Data Processing Addendum as a fallback.

5. Retention and training
The AI provider does not use your data to train its models without permission, and retains data only in accordance with its standard retention policy.
Separately, Placker stores your Placker AI Client conversation history within its own systems for 30 days, after which it is automatically deleted.

6. Purpose limitation

7. Accuracy disclaimer

You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not enter data you are not permitted to share with a third-party AI processor.

9. Control and opt-in
Placker AI Client is an optional, feature-flagged capability and is off by default.
It can be enabled or disabled at the workspace level; workspace administrators can turn it off for the entire workspace.

10. Deletion and data-subject rights
